Located in NoHo at 337 Lafayette St., Kith Treats is one of the best places to visit if you want to satisfy your sweet tooth and cool down on a warm summer day. Kith Treats is located on the second floor of Kith NYC, a retail store which sells apparel and shoes; if you want to browse their merchandise, you can do so on the first floor or on the right-hand side of the second floor. One thing to note is that you can’t eat the ice cream in any of the retail sections, so I would recommend browsing beforehand.
I, personally, only visited Kith with the intention of trying their ice cream, so I headed straight for the second floor. After exiting the elevator and turning left, I was greeted with the sweet scent of Kith Treats’ ice cream and milkshakes. They have an incredibly wide variety of offerings to choose from. You can either choose from their signature specials or customize your own ice cream swirl or milkshake!
I went on a Tuesday afternoon around 7 PM, and there was no line. I customized my own ice cream swirl with vanilla ice cream, Fruity Pebbles, and coconut flakes. After placing my order, I was told to wait at the counter across from the register, and they called out my order less than three minutes later. I was pleasantly surprised by how well the ice cream turned out! It tastes like coconut ice cream mixed with bits of Fruity Pebbles cereal, and I couldn’t help but smile in between bites because of how insanely good it was.
While I can confidently say that the burst of flavor that hits your tongue when you dip the ice cream into your mouth will surely surpass that of any pre-packaged ice cream, I do think this is still quite pricey for $8. I would be interested in trying the cereal-infused ice cream sandwich for $6 next time.
The amount of ice cream you get at Kith is, however, substantial. It took me at least 15 minutes to finish this, but, admittedly, I was trying to savor every spoonful π It also comes with a piece of chocolate which perfectly complements the fruitiness of the ice cream.
The main criticisms I have about Kith Treats are regarding the designated area in which you can eat the ice cream. There is a limited amount of counter space that accommodates about 15 people, and there is no seating. This can be especially annoying if you come in after a long day of walking in the heat and just want to relax while eating your ice cream. I hope they introduce seating sometime in the near future!
One way Kith could further improve is to adjust the loud, blasting music throughout the entire store. The music makes it hard to have a conversation while eating your ice cream, and, if the music selection does not appeal to you, this will likely get on your nerves fairly quickly. I was there for about 25 minutes in total, and I noticed that the majority of the music was hip hop, rap, or pop songs which included cuss words. In light of this, I would not necessarily recommend taking young children to Kith. It would be fantastic if they could lower the volume and expand their music selection!
Trendy and conveniently located near an influx of retail stores, Kith will surely appeal to a younger crowd of people. I was impressed by the quick service, flavor variety, and quality of the ice cream, and I definitely think it’s worth your time to stop by and try Kith Treats!

Thanks for the review. I would never step foot into places I don’t otherwise know so these reviews help me reconsider just going to a food chain all of the time. When it comes to ice cream, either you love it or it’s the same old.
I’m glad you found this helpful! I would definitely recommend trying different places. Let me know if there are any in particular you’d like me to review!

Thanks so much!
This place looks absolutely lush! Seriously, I’m sitting at my desk drolling over these ice creams and I think I spent a good ten minutes attempting to figure out what I would order and came to the result if I ever got to come to this place then I would have to buy at least two separate ice creams at least to be able to pick which flavours I would like to try! It kinda reminded me of the Cereal Killer Cafe in London that I visited last year too!
I know! It’s delicious. I would love to go back and try some more of their flavors soon, so let me know if you want me to review any in particular π
Oh my gosh, these look so tasty! I’d love to try their vegan range. I’m sending you all of my love! πΈπ
