If you’re someone who loves receiving a variety of different items every month, you should definitely consider purchasing a subscription box. But there are so many different options out there that it can be incredibly hard to choose the best one! You should generally look for a subscription box that’s a good value for your money and offers good quality products. To make your search a little easier, here are three of my favorite ones for stationery, kawaii, and beauty:
This is the perfect subscription box for writers, artists, students, or really anyone who loves stationery. Starting at $25/month, you receive 6-8 Japanese stationery products in each crate. My crate contained 7 items – an Eevee Notebook, a Peach Soda Mechanical Pencil, an Apollo Mini Notepad, Animal Washi Tape, Miraneige Flake Stickers, Cat Design Paper, and a roller eraser. My personal favorites are the Peach Soda Mechanical Pencil and roller eraser. The pencil looks like something you could get out of a vending machine in Tokyo, and the eraser is dual-purpose; not only does it erase, but the roller side collects the shavings, making it a mess-free experience. I still found great use in these products, even as a college student, and I happily shared the rest with my younger sister who loves to draw. She loved how cute all of the products were 🙂
This is the perfect subscription box for anyone who’s a child at heart. The products included in the Doki Doki Crate will appeal to those with a soft spot for plush toys and for adorable (but still very useful) items. Starting at $35/month, you receive 5-6 kawaii items straight from Japan. My crate contained 5 items – a Rilakkuma Spinning Pen Stand and an Animal Screen Cloth, a Hug Tail Plush, a Pokemon Tissue Box Cover. My personal favorites are the Rilakkuma Spinning Pen Stand and Animal Screen Cloth. The pen stand is the cutest addition to any workspace, and it’s a great organization tool as well; it revolves and features removable sections so you can tailor the space to best fit your needs. You can store pens, makeup brushes, utensils, cue tips, and more! The screen cloth comes in handy especially since I sanitize my phone every time I return from an outing; sanitizing usually leaves streaks on my screen, but they wipe away easily thanks to this cloth.
Finally, this is the perfect subscription box for any beauty or skincare lover! For $29/month, you receive 8-10 Japanese products to help you enhance and embrace your natural beauty. My crate contained 9 products – a Disney Tsum Tsum Face Mask, a Botanical All-in-One Moisturizing Gel, a pore remover, a pack of beauty swabs, bath salts, hand cream, a lip mask, a moisturizing face mask, and a Tweety Bird Lash Serum. My personal favorites are the Disney Tsum Tsum Face Mask and hand cream. As someone who’s loved Disney ever since I could walk, I thoroughly enjoyed their ultra-hydrating essence face mask. Anything that combines my enthusiasm for Disney with my love for skincare is an automatic ‘add to cart’ for me 🙂 The hand cream has a refreshing, fresh scent, and it’s been especially useful lately given that my hands are much drier than usual because I wash them so often!
Overall, what I love most about all of these crates is how novel all of these items are. If you want to try any of these products out but are still hesitant to invest in a subscription box, you can check sugoimart.com for availability!
